Some Catching up....

This is my dear friend Jessica! We were roomates in college and both in each others weddings, I wish she lived closer! She lives in Canoga Park now, way too far. We would love to be able to spend more time with her and her husband and to have our sweet baby girls (they will be one month apart) grow up together. She is due the end of June, this was taken the middle of April, so I am sure we are both plenty bigger by now :-) Can't wait to meet her baby girl!! She is going to be BEAUTIFUL!
Capri Rose Dietrich was born May 7th! She was 7 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches long. She has a ton of thick brown hair that just has continued to get lighter and lighter. She is so sweet and so far Her big sister and brother and cousin LOVE her. We are pretty crazy about her ourselves.
Uncle Bo loves a new baby!
Big sister Avary!
Big Brother Judah, he has been so sweet and gentle with her, it is really cute.

Baby in a bathrobe, we think she looks so cute.
Her and Buddy actually really love each other, I am so thankful. Of course we are still cautious with him around the babies, he is still a dog. But so far he has been so patient and loving towards them, if he has had enough of them, he just gets up and walk away and for the most part is really gentle. I love our dog, sometimes he is such a weirdo, and so frustrating when he makes a break for it and decides its time to hunt for squirrels in the field by our house, but he is really good for the most part. I love having him around when Bo is away at work.
Exploring our beautifully landscaped yard ;-)
We have been spending more time outside. She has been getting a little stir crazy inside so I have been trying to be more flexible with letting her get dirty and exploring her little world, I can be a control freak about staying clean, but when there is a hose and pool involved it makes for an easy clean up.
I am so thankful for her brown skin that she got from her daddy, she tans already! I am the one that always burns.
We put a little kid swing up in the backyard, she loves it. She wants me to push her forever in there. She laughs and laughs!

We went down to the SD Zoo when my mom was out (more pics to come, my sister took more than I did). After we met some of our favorite people for apparently the best pizza in San Diego according to Josh Gumbert. I have to say it was really tasty. I hope these 3 will be great friends for life, Isla, Melia Gumbert, and Emery Gumbert. All 3 soon to be big sisters, Emery already is, Melia is due to have her sibling the End of June, and Isla will have her sister the end of July ;-) Hopefully they will be good friends too.
We have been hanging out with Avary and Judah quite a bit with all the Dietrich's new transitions in life. We have been loving it. Her and Judah get along great! They laugh at each other and share really well. I love this kid!
Isla doesn't need glasses we were just playing, but doesn't she looks so smart and cute??

Well thats all for now. I am going to get more pictures from my sister, she took a lot more when my mom was out, I have been bad about getting my camera out! I need to get better at it with Little sister Neva coming in less than 2 months!

Dejongs With Aunt Sally

My Cute Aunt Sally. We had the Dietrich babies for a day while Jake and Lauren were away for their anniversary, so Aunt Sally came out to assist and help change some diapers and feed some toddlers. We took a little trip over to DeJongs dairy in Wildomar to feed the animals and pick up some delicious chocolate milk :-) (Its the best ever)
Avary and Judah with Aunt Sally
It was so windy!
Avary feeding the goat, they are fat animals, I think they get fed too much because they weren't really into the food.
Avary helping round up the little ones, she loves her brother and Isla.
I love these two.
Aunt Sally helping fill their hands with food to give to the animals, Isla didn't get it.

little cousin friends! These two love each other, Judah always brings Isla toys when he is at our house, today in the nursery at church he walked all the way across the room when Isla got there to give her a toy, it is so cute!
"Hey Isla look"
My cute girl and a little goat. I love her little profile.
It was a good day, we wanted to play out in the water in our backyard, but we got them a little late in the day and it never quite warmed up enough. We picked up a pizza on the way home for dinner, I asked Avary "hey Avary do you want pizza for dinner?", she said "yeah! Hannah you should try it, your gonna love it!" I love that girl so much, she has been saying the funniest things lately! Thanks Aunt Sally for coming and hanging out with us!

Safari Park aka. Wild Animal Park

I guess they changed the name of the Wild Animal Park to the Safari Park, Kind of weird. WE went on Thursday with the Dietrichs and my Grandma Lola, we bought year passes which include the zoo, I am so excited. Isla has been all about animals lately too. The Safari Park is kind of hard to see a lot of the animals, it was super hot (hence the diaper booty), so I think the animals were hiding, and it seemed a bunch of construction was going on.
I love her little bum, she was looking at the petting zoo deer through the fence.
seriously look at her little legs! I love them!
Playing with daddy in the misters
She was cracking up.
The Lorakeets, she thought they were great, not scared at all. She kept wanting to touch them!
Grandma Lola getting mobbed, she bought the nectar for them.

Avary was a bit scared of them, but was getting brave towards the end, then went in again.
they have a couple small water areas the kids can play in, so we planned accordingly, good thing too, someone said it was 96*, it sure felt that hot.
with cousin Judah
Looking at the elephants with Auntie Lauren. We have been practicing with Isla, We ask her "what does an Elephant say?" and she throws her arm in the air and says "whooooo", its pretty cute.
At the petting zoo. She was not scared of this big dear AT ALL, kind of made me nervous. Maybe because she is around our big dog all day. This was the only deer out in the petting zoo, so she or he was getting totally mobbed by all the kids, didn't seem to mind though. Isla thought it was her new friend.
Her little deer friend
such a little brave girl...such a goof too.
And another picture of her cute thighs, I am sure she won't think they are cute when she is 20, but for now they so cute.
My little exhausted girl. She didn't even nap until the last 20-30 minutes when we were leaving the park. She doesn't want to miss any of the action.
So glad my love was with me, I would have been pooped out halfway through the day I think pushing that stroller with all our stuff in it through all those hills in that heat. And of course we didn't want him to miss Isla's first time at the zoo!
